Brief Description: Rudder, pushrod, trim and washers

Cut elevator pushrod to length, drilled ends and primed inside and out. After was dry, riveted on ends.
Center pivot on elevator had one full washer on one side and one thin on the other. When tightened, it put some drag on the elevators. The thin was too thin and a regular would not go in. Made a custom washer by grinding a normal one down to fit. About half way between a .063 and .032. Now it is no drag.
Installed pushrod, adjusted length and tightened jam nuts. Will tighten more when pushrod comes out, could not reach very well. Checked elevator movement, 27 degrees down and filed to get 30.1 degrees up. Not much filing.
Completed bolting on fin. Checked movement, was 1/8" more movement than specified, Ok. Removed rudder and fin.
Ran ropes to use to pull trim cables thru stab.
