Brief Description:  Stab complete debur and dimple

Completed dimpling and countersinking all of stab parts. This is a big airplane.

Image 1 is my flange dimpler. The thing in the foreground is a foot operated air switch attached to the squeezer in the background. Tape the lever down on the squeezer and operate it with your foot. With the squeezer in the vice you have two hands to position the piece. Can dimple about at at rate of about 2 seconds per diimple. Works for any flanged part such as a rib or former. Big sheets are too big to control to do the edge dimples.

Photo 2 is the dimpler I made to do the -6A. Has done the -6A and a -7 of a friend. Now it gets a shot at a -10. The slot in the table (the cutout goes back in when done) holds the top of the die just slightly proud of the top of the table. Table is covered with an old blanket that fits under the dimpler. Just slide the piece around freely and don't worry about scratching the skin. See photo 3 without he dimpler.
