Completed wing installation. Level plan for and aft and got it perfectly leveled. Inserted both wings with Adam's help and put pins in alignment holes in main spar. Used clamps to hold in place after leveling wings to U-tube water level.
Purchased piloting bits so they would following the existing pilot holes I drilled when constructing the main spar.
I had already removed aft tunnel web assembly on July 10th. I was then able to drill aft to fore through the spar bolt blocks. I then reinstalled the aft web assembly and drilled fore to aft. I then updrilled the final hole diamter aft to fore.
The final bolt position looks great and all the holes look true.
Measured wing level position after bolting and was within 1/32"
I can see why it took Sonex a static load of more than -9Gs to fail this spar assembly. This is a very stout design.
