Brief Description: Drilled elevator root rib holes
I made a jig to square the elevators to one another and then positioned both elevators and the completed elevator root assembly in place. I then positioned the yoke on the centerline and drilled the root ribs. They were not an exact flush fit with the skins, but the design allows for a bit of flexibility here. After clecoing rib roots to skins, I was then able to mark the inside of the elevator skin where it extended past the rib and trim and file the skins so they were flush with the ribs.
