Brief Description:  Dimpling/Priming 2

Attached the DRDT2 to an old coffee table (pic 1) and made up a couple of stands with some non-slip stuff on the top. Works very well and is at a nice height so you can sit down and have a smoke while you're doing it!! Switched on very rapidly to the fact that dimpling is boring and so why not make yourself comfortable?!!

Found a good use for the emp box, makes a cracking little spray-booth!! Pic 2. The Precote is easy to apply, you just lather it on with a scotchbrite pad giving it a good scrub until it foams up, leave for 2 minutes and then a quick scrub over and rinse off with water - easy. The US Air Force have been using the stuff for years so I'm happy. It degreases, protects and 'etches' in one- easy!!

The AFS primer (still labelled Stewart Systems), is brilliant to use. If required, it can be thinned with distilled water although so far I haven't need to thin it. All I'm using at the moment is a detail spray gun which has proven more than adequate even for the inside of the skins. The beauty of this stuff is that it doesn't smell and is water-based so clening up is easy. Added benefit is there is little overspray - I love the stuff. It can also be brush applied straight from the can which I've used to prime the rivets after setting and to touch up the primer from any bucking bar marks etc. Very, very satisfied with the finish. Pic 3 is just a random shot of the inside of the HS, difficult to get a decent pic with everything being white with the flash. You still need to use a mask though because of the spray mist, but no forced air or expensive equipment required,
