Brief Description:  VS Finishing 2.

Rear Spar slotted in easily and was a 10 minute job with the hand squeezer. I bought the adjustable die holder from www.Planetools,com as well, again a highly recommended accesory, stops all that messing about with washers and its a 2 second job to give the adjuster a small tweak to get a near perfect set. Noticed that the die holder needs to be kept well greased as it soon dries out and starts to stick on thereturn stroke.

Last job on the Rear Spar are the rivets attachin the rear flange of VS-704 and the blind rivets for VS 707. Blind rivets shown at pic 2. These, plus the rear spar, tip and root rivets were then brush primed.

So that'll be the next major assembly finished!!! Removed the vinyl protection and I'm very pleased with the finish, folowing experience with the HS, I now dimple with the vinyl still attached. Just dimple a corner and peel back the vinyl to check how the rivet sits in the dimple, adjust until you're satisfied and then bingo, your skin is fully protected for the rest of the dimpling. The completed VS is at pic 3. No it isn't creased, it's the way the light is reflecting!!!

Bring on the rudder!!!
