Brief Description:  HS Finishing 4.

I don't mind admitting, but I am completely, and totally anal about flying controls and and everything that they attach to. I am going for electric elevator trim and want to ensure that there is no possibilty of chafing anywhere along its cable run. Pics 1 & 2 show my solution, Snap bushings in the Rear spar, HS 405 and the Front Spar with a continuous run of heavy duty polyurethane conduit which is stiff enough to stay in place within the snap bushings but epoxied into them just to be doubly sure. The outside diameter of the conduit matches the inside diameter of the bushings so for the HS-405 bush, the |Unibit was used just to open it up enough to allow the conduit to pass through. In my RAF experience, I know of a number of accidents and incidents caused by run-away elevator and aileron trims and so i feel happier with this solution.

And that's it, first part of my baby finished and Pic 3 shows the HS taking pride of place on the dining room table, i'm hoping to hold a dinner party where we can all sit round and admire it!!!
