Spent a bunch of time today working on semi-random pieces and parts. I mounted the radiator mount, but as I look at the pictures I took at the factory, I think I need to move the forward mount...damn! The single hole that the factory drilled in the root tube seems to be totally useless...weird.
I actually set the oil tank in place and then realized I can only find one of the hose clamps that holds it in place. I'll have to keep my eyes open for the other. I also determined that two of the oil lines I was planning on using are toast. I think they are hi-temp lines...which has to translate to expensive.
I bolted the radiator to the housing...no problems noted.
I worked for quite a while on the elevator trim setup. What I was able to figure out is that I had two of the pieces in wrong. They are now fixed and all is well. I was not, however, able to figure out the trim indicator issue. I will have to call Jim to get some help with that...he waws really good with the flap indicator earlier.
I busted out the handheld radio and tested the radio...it works!!! That was another big step.
