Brief Description: Removed old parts for powder coating
Removed the Rotax engine mount, intake manifolds, and carb drip pans to be powder coated. I have a dental appt tomorrow at 1300 and will press straight to Moultrie to have the parts done. -Both drip pans were cracked almost to the point of being unuseable. I'm checking the prices of new ones vs having these fixed. -The muffler had a crack in it from an impact on the front side (coincident with the wreck). It should be fixable, but I want to find a good TiG welder.
Additionally I ordered the trailer today to haul the plane to SA. 24', V nose, 7' tall, 8.5' wide hauler. Should be a great trailer, but the price tag, a touch over $6K, is a bit daunting. After the next move the trailer should pay for itself.
