Brief Description:  Finished all the tapes!

As the description says, I finished putting all the tapes on tonight. The rudder, elevators, ailerons, flaps, horizontals, vertical, etc all have tapes! I have to fart around with the tapes on the rudder a bit where that funky curve is in the LE of the rudder, but other than that-done!

All that being said there is a BUNCH of ironing to do on all of these tapes. I think it could easily take the rest of the week on ironing. This is the weekend I buy the EFIS for the Glasair.

We just got back from our squadron's deployment to Nellis, what a great time that was. Char and I went back and forth like Tomcats, no idea exactly where all of that is coming from, but I think we'll sort it out.

Our primary guidance was to "go low, go fast" out there...no problem! I saw 590kts ground at 500' at one point...neat! The last day was a N-S war along the eastern border (Caliente) and it was like the canyon scene in Star Wars...walls taller than me on either side...very very cool.
