I got out way early today, went and saw the movie "The Kingdom" with Kat. I didn't spend as much time as I wanted on the airplane, but I did stop at O'Reilly Auto Parts and buy what will become the landing lites. Hopefully I can get a semi-pro looking install going on them. I'm thinking they will got where the strut goes into the wing.
I finished the first flap and was able to get almost all the bumps, wrinkles and such out. Lots of work with the iron and the MEK there.
I also got the leading edge of the other flap glued down. The second one, much like the ailerons, turned out much better. The leading edge is smoother and there is less over-Tak. I was hoping my experience with the ailerons would make both flaps go smoothly....eeehhh, wrong!
