Began covering The first aileron. I'm not sure if it is the left or the right...I suppose it really doesn't matter. The covering is different than I anticipated. It is more difficult than monokote, but that could be a result of inexperience (no shit!). I screwed up and put glue too far around the leading edge tube so that the fabric is tucked too far along the tube when viewed from a cross section...i.e. it didn't go tangent to the tube 'soon' enough.
I found that my anti-chafe tape is crap. Apparently it spent too long out in th eheat inteh trailer and the stick is all gone. Mike Peck gave me some of his and the world is good again...except I have to redo all that I've done so far (both ailerons, both flaps).
I also spent a few of those hours working on getting the spades working. I ended up moving them out three inches so they clear the tip float...brilliant!
