I worked some more on the boom tube cover and got the expansion plates in place. It's a slick setup and the rivet fan really made it look good.
I also pulled out the sprayer and sprayed the test panel...whew, it was a little easier than I thought it would be. It came out good, and it seemed to live up to all the hype in terms of very little overspray. In fact I had to work to get it to run. I put two quick coats on, and they were dry to the touch in about 10 min. It was fairly warm and humid, so those should be offsetting errors. I think I'll try to spray one coat on tomorrow evening. That would be a good feeling!
