Worked a great deal on teh elevator trim. I am just about finished up with it...the only thing remaining is to get the position sensor installed in the correct place. A vast majority of the time was spent trimming the fiberglass fairing that attaches to the front of the vert stab and covers all the trim parts. Cut, fit, cut fit, etc.
Vic and I also hauled the airplane over to Jim's today and took the stress off the motor and were able to swap out the wing brackets. I will need to put a shim in the one forward bracket that was drilled out to 5/16", but that is small potatoes.
I also had to install the instrument panel so I could get the trim working...man does it look good in place. Yesterday I sent off the EFIS for repair...they say they will turn it around as quickly as possible.
