Nice weather to be in the garage today. Especially after taking another "motivational" flight with Mike McMains in his RV-7 yesterday. The Super Bowl is on this evening but I look forward more to seeing the commercials than the game.
I removed strips of vinyl sheet with the soldering iron. Deburred holes in Left Elevator Skin with swivel deburring tool. Dimpled skin with squeezers where able and the rest with blind rivet dimple dies. Backriveted stiffners to elevator skin.
I then Deburred the rear spar with the die grinder. Also deburred the two doubler plates with die grinder. Match drilled doubler plates to back of stiffner. Riveted them in place with hand squeezer.
Spray primed the two end ribs and match drilled them. Started to remove some material from the lead counterweight but still have more to do on that.
