I've been working a half-hour here, and hour there for most of this week to get the turtledeck completed. I'm almost there. All that remains is the forward section close to the cockpit (the compound curve.) There's going to be a little unavoidable bulging of material, but I've been practicing a heat-shrinking technique that should fix that. Using a 550-degree Farenheit heat indicating marker, you heat the middle of the bulge and very carefully hammer the extra material into the heated area - making it a little thicker. Quench it with a nice cool rag, and it takes up a slight bulge quite nicely. I've just got to build up the courage to try it here.
