Brief Description: Turtle Deck Longeron Rivet Line
This morning I located all of the holes for the turtledeck longeron rivet line. I'm drilling holes in the fuselage, then using my strap duplicator to locate the holes in the skin. Seems to be working fine - no problems to report so far. I was able to cleco the skin to the rear tube frame with no problems, although I'm getting concerned how it will ever fit the front tube. For now I'm just moving forward and will cross that bridge when I come to it, but I can see myself having to significantly adjust, or re-bend another front tube frame to fit the skin. There's an awful lot of distance between the skin and the tube as it stands now. We'll see. Slow going, but so far everything looks great.
