You know you're pulling a lot of rivets when there are so many you can't finish in four hours. Today I began riveting the main fuselage together. After a careful last leveling and making sure I was happy with everything I started pulling rivets. I got the passenger side fairly well completed, and a lot of the pilot side done before running out of rivets. (I'm expecting a delivery in the next day or two so I can finish.) The structure is very sturdy, and feels really solid. I'm only days away from actually being able to sit in the fuselage! Incredible. I'm leaving the firewall in clecos so it will be easier to get to the cabin floor. I've still got plenty to do there with regard to rudder pedals, etc. Once I get this much completed, I may move it for a few days to concentrate on bending my landing gear and fuselage hoops. I'll need some room for both of those operations. I may not get to those things before Christmas though.
