The cool thing about final assembly is that it goes relatively fast. What may have taken me a week to fabricate, locate, drill, trim, and cleco comes out and goes right back into the cleaned-up holes in a matter of hours or even minutes. With these seat bottoms riveted ip place, this is seriously starting to look like a fuselage. Earlier in the week I made the fairleads for the front of the spar and riveted those in place, as well as bolting the torque tube in. You can actually see the back of it if you look closely in th second picture. The torque tube operates very smoothly with no perceptible slop. I'm happy about that. This afternoon I plan to rivet the rear uprights and baggage supports in place - not the floor because I still want it open for access, but almost everything else.
