Brief Description:  Baggage Shelf and Seat Back

I spent most of my time this week finishing up the baggage area and getting the seat back together. Since I'm scratchbuilding, there's a lot of laying out and drilling rivet lines for these parts. It's not particularly difficult, but very time-consuming. I also started on the seat back - putting it's parts in place and drilling them to final size. I'm trying to drill holes to final size as much as possible so I don't have to spend a month doing it when it comes time for final assembly. If you'll notice, the clecos holding the torque tube bearing are 3/6" (gold-colored). I bought about 12 of these, and they've been very handy in dealing with larger parts and things that get an AN3 bolt. Oh, one last thing. I used a 115mm hole saw to make the required half-moon cutouts at the bottom of the center seat channel and seat back reinforcing angle, and it worked out great - a very clean cut on both parts. That's the way to do it - not trimming by hand.
