With the bending of my upper longerons - which took some patience and gentle persuasion - I've begun the fuselage forward section. One of the first tasks is to set the firewall angle and get it elevated properly. Having a digital level made this much easier, and it wasn't until much later that I actually made the templates and confirmed the angle. My wife brought home a discarded display from her work that had some nice long pieces of steel that I sawed up and used for beams. It's working perfectly. My laser level is helping out tremendously too. I'm able to level the entire fuselage over its 14' (or so) length to within the width of a thin laser line. Incredible. Gotta getcha one.
