I've got to go out of town for a few days, so I've been working feverishly to get this wing finished up. It will have to wait until I get back. The fabrication of the wingtip template and trimming of the tank skin took longer than I anticipated. I've learned that I'm horrible at estimating how long a job will take. Good thing I don't do it for a living. I finally got all of the holes cut in the tank skin - including those for the filler neck and tank sender door. All that really remains of this wing is getting the tank in it's final position with a few cork strips, riveting on the skin, and fabricating a hidden filler door like I did for the last wing. Those are all fun jobs and will be waiting for me when I get back in 3 days.
