I finally got tired of waiting for my hole duplicator, so I decided not to waste the day by working on my second conduit run for my LRI and Pitot/Static hoses. I used about 5 feet of thin-wall 3/4" PVC and it worked beautifully. I made brackets like I had done before and hung the tubing through the forward lightening hole. I sawed a coupling in half and glued it to each end to keep the tubing in place. I also smoothed off any rough edges that may chafe through the tubing with vibration. I'm really happy with the way this turned out, and I feel confident that if I ever need to change out the hoses I'll be able to do it with a minimum of taking things apart. I figure the conduit weighs about 8 oz. Not too bad.
Thin-wall PVC pipe - about 8 oz.
