Brief Description:  Inboard Section of Leading Edge

I spent about an hour this morning working on the inboard section of the leading edge. It fit nicely in place with the addition of the tightening straps. A quick word about the straps - don't go too tight with them. It actually doesn't take much pressure when your bend radius is correct. If you apply too much pressure, you're just going to distort things and create problems for yourself. I realize that this is a lot of journal entries about the leading edge, but I don't think there are a lot of people who've done it this way and I wanted to document it so others might benefit. Next I'll work on the center section that covers the tank, and cut the access hole for the finger screen. The skin for the center section is already cut and bent (approx 30mm oversize this time.) There's another tip for scratchbuilders - cut skins slightly oversize and trim as necessary. You're going to save yourself a lot of time, money, and frustration if you do. Trust me on this one.
