Brief Description: Left Bellcrank Bracket Fabrication/Assembly
I began assembly of the left wing in earnest today by fabricating and assembling the left bellcrank brackets. I paid careful attention to the plans to get everything spaced correctly, and did a little head scratching about how to get exact measurements in a few places, but was able to figure it all out after it was all said and done. I had already made a 16.5mm spacer that I used to set the distance between the brackets. I guess I can retire it now - at least for this airplane. I had also already fabricated some of the parts - the channel for instance, so things went pretty quickly. I have the entire left bellcrank made except for the bushing. Not a problem. I remember that being a pretty easy part. It's nice to be working on another part of the plane now. I feel like I'm making progress again.
