I've been working a little here and a little there for the last couple of days. I enlarged all of the holes on the right wing skeleton from #40 pilot holes to their finished #20 size. I still need to do quite a bit of deburring on the skeleton. I've also been working on the bellcrank assembly, which has turned out quite good. I was able to get the tolerances I was looking for by making a 16.5mm spacer out of some aluminum rod I'd gotten to make center spar spacers. I cut the rod to a roughly close size with my miter saw, drilled a 3/16" hole through the middle, then filed it to perfection. Be careful cutting the rod. I encased mine in a little wooden box so that it wouldn't become a projectile if the saw blade caught it. I used a 3/16 drill bit as my alignment pin, and it worked out just right. Later, I cut my 4130 steel tubing to make the bushing with a regular old plumbing pipe cutter, then filed the bushing to the exact size. The whole thing fits together very neatly, and with close tolerances.
