After finishing up my fuel tanks, I'm re-energized to start working on the "proper" wings again. I spent some time cleaning up the shop, as I always do before beginning a new assembly. This gets me in the mood to start with a clean slate in my mind, and helps me let go of past mistakes and goof-ups. Some time ago I made my nose rib forming blocks and cut out my nose rib blanks, so I began forming them. I watched the Homebuilthelp scratchbuilding video again to get some tips on forming the nose ribs. It had been a while since I banged out a rib, and I wanted to refresh my memory. I was able to make 4 in a relatively short time. I'll probably finish up the nose ribs tomorrow. That'll leave me with the rear ribs. There's quite a bit of woodworking involved in the rear rib forms, so I expect those to take a couple of weeks.
