Brief Description:  Left Fuel Tank Finished

I've been working hard to finish up the left fuel tank. After drilling, deburring, measuring and fitting all of the parts, I finally had to crack open the Proseal and get started. Here are a couple of tips based on what I've learned. 1. Buy a whole box of exam gloves - you'll go through the entire box trying to keep that super-sticky stuff from getting everywhere. 2. Get some syringes from a medical supply house. I'm using 60cc, which is fairly large, but seems to be working ok. If you can, get 60cc for the "part a" and about 20cc for "part B". I honestly don't know how you'd get the correct mix ratio without them. 3. Try to keep things clean as you go along, or you'll have it everywhere. If you're one of those painters who can do a good job and not get paint everywhere, you'll do ok. Mixed Proseal is about the consistency of a melted candy bar - pretty difficult to work with. Make sure you also have some artists brushes with the bristles trimmed short. Just be patient and you'll get through it. I'm going to let this tank sit for a day, then go back and put a little extra on spots I suspect may leak. I'll let them sit for about a week or so before pressure testing. Then on to tank #2.
