Brief Description:  Wing Tank Skin Shearing

Spent some time today test fitting strips of .032 aluminum to the tank ends for proper placement of the necessary bends in the skin. I then sheared the tank skins to size. I also calculated rivet placement based on the position of the inside flanges of the tank ends. I bought an electric sheet metal shear from Grizzly. It does a great job. Instead of this job taking about an hour, this would have taken several hours to shear these by hand or Olfa knife from the 4'x12' sheet of material. It's going to come in really handy when it comes time to shear my wing ribs.
