Fabricated the spar tips today. Using the Olfa knife, the new bending brake, and the new flanging dies, I busted these out in fairly short order. I goofed up the first one trying to get the exact bending allowance. I ended up with a slightly oversize part. Oh well - the beauty of scratchbuilding is you can just make another one! I test bent a small strip to finally get the correct bend allowance and ended up with two dimensionally accurate spar tips. Just as a side note, in the last picture you can see that the camera lens is a little fogged-up - a testament to how high the humidity is in the shop today. I'll wait for a more dry day to prime these.
