Brief Description:  Seat Back Riveted (Complete)

Well it's been quite an airplane-building day. I was enjoying myself, so I just continued with the seat back assembly. This whole thing will be riveted in place inside the fuselage. Doing it this way is much easier than trying to rivet from inside. I've been cleaning up primer overspray as I go so that not much will be visible in the finished plane. Most of what you see here will be inside the fuselage and never visible - except for a small area (above the empty rivet line in the picture) which I'll clean up after the seat bottoms go in. I'm going to Williamsburg tomorrow to meet with Garry Williams, who I met at Corvair College #12 and have been corresponding with for a while. I'm giving him all of my finished rib and bulkhead forms, as well as my flanging dies. I'm done with them and it'll give him a huge head start on his project. Garry built his engine (a beautiful Corvair) first - making most of the parts himself on his Bridgeport milling machine. I can help him with his airframe, and he can help me with my engine - very cool. It'll be a fun day.
