I've put of doing some welding as long as possibe, and today I bit the bullet. Knowing that I'm going to want decent-looking welds, I've decided to let a local guy TIG weld them. To save him time and me money, I feel comfortable tacking things together to show him where everything goes. He'll finish the job. By the time I finished tacking things together, I felt my skills had already improved some. I've got other welded parts to make, and will make the decision when the time comes to do it myself, or have it done by my guy.
