When it came time to make up the wing jig, I was a little nervous because I scratch-built my wings. What if the angles are off a little? Will it all go together??? My solution was to go to the source. I made my wing ribs from form blocks, and those form blocks have their own unique characteristics. For that reason (and the fact that I hate duplicating work) I ended up using my form blocks to make my wing jigs, and they work like a charm - a perfect fit. After setting the front spar angle to 81 degrees, I mounted a piece of angle on the side so you can set your level on it to achieve a level condition. I used scrap and the pieces I trimmed off the rear wing channels. Sweet.
