Brief Description:  End of Fuselage Part Fabrication

Well sports fans, it's over. Although there are plenty of more parts to be made, I'm calling it finished with major fuselage part fabrication. A quick look back through my log says I've spent 72.5 hours making just fuselage parts. I'd say at this rate, every part for the fuselage could be made in about 80 hours - two 40-hour weeks - maybe a little more. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the level of workmanship I've been able to achieve on these things. I've surprised myself a time or two on how closely tolerances have been observed, and how well the parts have turned out. Now I just have to not screw it up in construction. I've learned a lot though, and I'm confident that this will turn out to be a very nice airplane. My next log will be the start of fuselage construction. Woo hoo!!
