After YEARS of making parts - spars, bellcranks, control surfaces - all of it, my wings are done. This is a major milestone in this project, and one that I never knew was possible when I started. Of course there are tons of details left, but major construction of the wings is complete. I'm very pleased with the work, and am looking forward to moving on to the fuselage. Just for the record, actual construction took me about 4 months per wing. That may seem like a long time, but bear in mind that there were plenty of times when I was working, or unable to devote any time to the project. I have impressed even myself with my determination. Two wings from scratch.
