Brief Description:  Skinned Left Wing Bottom

After reviewing the photo guides again to refresh my memory, I disassembled the left leading edge and decided to skin the bottom of the wing so it will have some strength to it. I've already drilled the spar cap, so after a marathon beburring session, I fogged the bottom skin inside, leveled carefully to ensure no twist, and riveted the bottom skin into place. Having the bottom skin riveted is also going to make the process of putting the leading edge on easier - no clecos to sit on, and easier to flip. I feel good with the progress made today and am beginning to feel much better about my decision to re-do the leading edge. I was watching "Master Blasters" last night, and the Dad said something that stuck in my head. "If you can show me something that was done in a hurry, I can show you something that could have been done better." To me this means slow down and do a good, careful job. Enjoy the process. I have to keep reminding myself of these things.
