I spent a few hours last week making up a wing sling to hold my completed wing. I used scrap 2x6 lumber from work which was destined for the landfill, so it's substantially overbuilt, but hey, the price was right. I got some straps from Home Depot and strung them between the top of the frame and the lower uprights. By the way, I got this design from Mark Townsend's 601 site. The guy who put the design up there got it from the Aircraft Spruce catalog. It works great. My right wing is now safely tucked away in a spare garage on the property. I sealed up the lightening holes with duct tape so birds won't nest in there.
