Brief Description: Right Wing Bottom Skin Riveting
Well, today is the big day. I finally started final skin riveting on my right wing. I was very concerned about skin puckering. I've been told by other builders not to worry too much - that all airplanes have a little of it. I carefully shimmed places that caused puckering when assembled with clecos, and riveted the skin in place. I'm very impressed with the results. The skin is as nearly perfect as I intend to ever get one. It looks great. Minimal waviness or puckering, and I'm really happy with the results. Looks like all of mt meticulous work has paid off on this one. Next I'm on to the top skin!
