Brief Description:  Completion of Rear Ribs

Big milestone today. With the completion of ribs 5 and 8, I've now completed a full set of wing ribs for my plane. For you scratchbuilders out there, don't underestimate the size of this task. I've got about 45 hours in the complete set of 18 rear ribs. That's making blocks and everything. This does not include stiffeners, bellcranks, etc. I'd read a lot of stuff since the beginning of my reseach about how to make wing ribs, but not much about how labor-intensive they are to make. No wonder Zenith wants $36 each for them. Next I'll be bending up some standard "L" angles to use as rib stiffeners, and getting them all cleaned up and ready for assembly. Woohoo!!
