I'm ready to start on the #2 ribs. I've completed the #1's and the new form blocks for the #2's. Although it's a time-consuming process, it's not that difficult to make the form blocks - just makes a lot of sawdust. I had a little trouble when it came to flanging the 115mm lightening hole. The plastic decking lumber I've been using to make my dies is a few millimeters too small for the big set. I've had to resort to laminating up some plywood and making a bigger set. I swear, it seems like flanging these holes is the most difficult part of building this thing so far. Oh well, sometimes you just have to have the right tool for the job.
