Over the last few days, I've been spending some time finishing up my fuel tanks. I'd say they turned out very well. I built the 15-gallon long-range tanks, so my XL will have a total of 30 gallons of fuel available for cross-country cruising. Although I haven't leak tested them yet, I'm confident there won't be any problems. I actually dipped each rivet in Proseal, then dabbed a bit covering the pulled rivet. I know this is probably overkill, but I really don't want to have to tear open a completed wing to deal with a leaky fuel tank. Photos to come. Now I can move on to fabricating ribs.
