I completed a huge hurdle today by finishing my left main spar. I now have a complete set of wing spars - center, right, and left. The solid riveting process was a lot easier this time. I didn't have to drill out a single rivet. I probably took me about half as long to complete this one, and I'm very happy with the results. Ever since I started the research to build my own plane, the one thing I've worried about the most was being able to complete the wing spars. I now have a really nice set that I won't think twice about flying with. Next I'll be fabricating the wing tanks and rear ribs. Woohoo!
