This morning I carefully went over the plans to make sure I was about to drill holes in the right places. After satisfying my need to double-check, I got out the center punch and drill and drilled one of the spar webs. Although some may see the punch as an extra step, I wanted these holes to be as accurately placed as possible because I intend to use the web as a drilling template for the other web and the spar caps. It actually didn't take that long to punch and drill the first web. After completing that one, I stacked the two webs and match-drilled using the top one as a template.
