Layed out spar components and hole placement for one outboard spar. The idea is to lay this one out correctly, check it again tomorrow (after a good nights sleep) with the spar caps temporarily in place for reference, and pilot-drill the whole web. After that, I'll stack the other web under it, and use the top pre-drilled one as a guide to drill through it. I should end up with two identical spar webs. I'm going to check the caps and their placement very carefully, and sit all of the components in their place so I can get a visual reference before drilling anything. You just can't take those holes back. Special thanks to Randy Bryant for his detailed explanations of how he made his spars on his web site. I feel really lucky to be building at a time when there are a lot of people willing to share what they've learned via the internet. Otherwise, I'd really have been stumbling in the dark.
