Brief Description: Center spar drilling and corrosion protection
Drilled all of the holes for my center spar including the webs and caps. This took a while because I was very careful to step-drill every hole to make sure they're nice and round. Polishing of the spar caps took a while too. I started with 80-grit emery cloth, and worked my way up to 220 and a fine scotchbrite wheel. There's quite a bit of work in this assembly, and it all has to be very precise. My reward though is extremely well-made parts with very little deviation from the plans - less than .05mm on any part.
