Worked fabricating aileron parts in preparation for building the ailerons. Made form blocks for ribs and tips, even though I won't use the blocks for the tips - the flange bends are at too radical an angle for blocks, but I didn't realize this until after I'd made them! Oh well. Made the aileron horns and applied corrosion protection. Cut out the aileron ribs using the Olfa knife. This method is much cleaner than the router method. In my opinion, I wouldn't bother with the router method of cutting out blanks. I've been using the Olfa knife and snips, and everything has worked out fine, plus there are no metal shavings flung into the far corners of the shop and into my Diet Coke!
