Spent quite a bit of time fabricating elevator parts. They turned out very good. Dimensions are right on the money for everything. I learned a valuable lesson building these that is worth documenting. It's better to bend parts first, then fabricate to the dimensions listed on the plans than trying to plan it all out first, then bend. I had to re-make the top elevator control horn 3 times to get it the proper dimension, and then only after bending first, then cutting to size. This may seem obvious to some, but it wasn't to me. I bought the elevator skin from Zenith. I just wan't going to be able to bend anything satisfactory over that length, and it wasn't going to be worth the time and trouble it would take me to just order it from the factory.
