Finished edge prepping all vertical stab structure parts. The spar doubler had some deep scratches in it from Van's. Used some 180 grit sandpaper followed by 600 grit to clean up the scratches. Had to be pretty aggresive but got them worked out. I have decided to add a doubler to the top rib VS-706, with 4 nut plates. This way if I want to add something at a later time, antenna, camera, etc. it will be prepped and stressed to accept it. I will also run a conduit down the front of the front spar to carry any wires I need to run to the top of the vert stab.
