I started washing and priming my metal parts today. I concentrated on the boot cowl and cowling parts, first washing, and then priming the pieces. While I was cycling these parts through that process, I was also stripping my nose bowl. After all the session was over, I had the whole nosebowl with at least one layer of stripper applied. The paint came off fairly easily and I'll try to get the primer off next session. I still need to strip my cowling top piece, plus all the wing root fairing pieces, so there's plenty of stripping left to do.
