I went to work on mounting my new nosebowl. After working with it and taking other pieces on and off for a couple of hours, I finally figured out that the rear nosebowl flange was not wide enough to work for my cowling stringers. I bought that nosebowl from a guy who was giving up on a project of his. Evidently, he had trimmed the flange too far and didn't bother to tell me. Oh, well. Back to working with the original bowl. I finished the drilling and mounting of the new bottom piece and started looking at how to mount the new side pieces.
